Aspen Lear
Aspen is a Chicago based theatre artist with specialization in technical direction, scenic carpentry, properties, and scenic art.
As a theatre artist and maker, I strive to bring stories to life and build community in the places I live and work. I use my artistic and technical skills alongside my colleagues to create something more than the sum of its parts. I enjoy problem solving, experimentation, and creation. Whether it’s building for a children's play, developing an immersive experience and exhibition, solving how to take a production overseas, or a dinner and craft night with friends. Creating theatre and art is the best way for me to experience and share in this process.
